Alfonso Alanis-Cue

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Alfonso is an experienced sports executive with expertise in commercial development and strategy. He has held roles at numerous organisations and successfully led businesses ranging in scope and size, both in the United States and internationally. He is currently Managing Partner and Co-Founder of O Street Consulting.

Prior to O Street Consulting, Alfonso led Business Development and Strategy for MP & Silva, a global sports rights agency. In this role, he was responsible for strategic planning and development of several initiatives including leading efforts to win the global commercial rights for the 2019 Copa America in Brazil, the full development of a new international sports property, and various other projects involving football throughout the Americas. Alfonso also served as the Senior Director of Partnership Marketing for Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), where he managed the commercial business for some of the premier football properties in the United States and Latin America. He also has extensive experience in several industries, having led multiple brands and business units during his time at PepsiCo, Whirlpool and Eli Lilly & Company.

Alfonso holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Georgetown University. He currently serves on the board of directors of love.futbol, a non-profit organisation that develops football fields for children in communities of need worldwide.

Robert Swain

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Robert is a qualified lawyer and sports executive with expertise in business dealings and legal matters. As a pragmatic strategist and effective negotiator, he has previously advised organisations of varying sizes in multiple industries. He is currently Managing Partner and Co-Founder of O Street Consulting.

Prior to O Street Consulting, Robert was in-house counsel at the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) where he advised internal departments of the organisation and global football stakeholders on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters. He was responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements affecting FIFA events and its commercial program, as well as providing advice and direction on football-specific issues and policies. Before joining FIFA, Robert was General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs at Fever Creative, a start-up technology-based marketing company in New York City, where he oversaw all commercial and legal matters affecting the company. He has also worked in private practice, government and a Fortune 100 company.

Robert holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Georgetown University. He also earned a Master of Advanced Studies in sport management and law from Le Centre International d’Etude du Sport. Away from the office, Robert enjoys food-inspired travel, particularly when paired with a local football match. He also remains actively involved with the alumni societies of his universities.
